Hi everyone!

Hey guys!

I've made my account 4 days ago and just realized that I should present myself... :)

My name is Eugenia, I am 17 years old and I love rock/metal/punk music! I also enjoy reading, writing, and learning things about history... amongst other things :)

Other than that, I am fluent in 5 languages (Russian, English, Spanish, French, Italian) and I'm learning German, so if any of you want to drop by a message in my box... feel free to do so! :D I love talking to other Nightwish fans!

Hope all of you are having a nice time here on the forums! Cheers!

Eugenia.

И тебе привет, Женя! Cheers from a fellow language lover (as far as I've noticed, we're all fellows in something crucial apart from NW here). It's mind-blowing how many tongues you're able to speak at your 17; and the whole life is yet ahead! NW fans are totally incredible people, that's for sure.

While we are at it, you don't happen to be a native English speaker, do you?

Because I am rather impressed.

In case you were asking me -  nope, I am not a native English speaker, I learned English when I was living in Kazakhstan.. I went to an International School, the teachers were all American there, so was the educational system... that's where I learned English :) studied there for 3 years, from 3rd to 5th grade!

...nope, I was complimenting the person I quoted.

You had your share of praise for today :P

Neither am I a native speaker then. What will always display my foreignness, I think, is the misuse of articles: each time I have to place one of these in front of a noun, the thought of making native speakers' eyes bleed sets trembling to my fingers (well, almost so). In Russian, which is my only native language, no such part of speech exists; among other reasons that's why for my fellow countrymen it's so hard to grasp English and lots of other languages. So heartfully thank you for the compliment: not that I've ever expected to be appraised like this.

Hi Eugenia,

Impressive language skills! By any chance, are you also fluent in tongues from the time before man?

Just joking, welcome to the forums!
