The Hair Dresser (A Parody of The Carpenter)

Where have you been? I have an appointment at 3

Downtown with a corporation

How come you're late?

When did you wake?

The hair dresser

No one is as skilled as her

Throughout mankind

I've tried all of the others

But no one else can dye

Like the hair dresser

She'll wash and cut

Only for seven bucks

She has to make a living

Snip, cut, shear

Stylize the hair

According to the customer

The hair dresser

No one is as skilled as her

Throughout mankind

I've tried all of the others

But no one else can dye

Like the hair dresser

"Thanks for the work

That you've done to my hair

I'll see you again next week"

She sweeps the floor

And moves onto the next one

Living her lonely life

The hair dresser

No one is as skilled as her

Throughout mankind

I've tried all of the others

But no one else can dye

Like the hair dresser

Know why god made the Finns

What does the perfect man look like?

Asks the girl with a tear in her eye

Know why god made the Finns?

Is the answer to everything

Taking a step to the bars around

Spending all my time on the dance ground

Freed from my clothes in the heat

I swear the testosterone's in my reach

Dancing like crazy with my hands to the air

I see this Finn as big as a bear

Making love not only to the gods above

On this voyage the maiden unfolds

As he dives deep into my blue lagoon

Don't know if this is the earth or the moon

Screams of Joy are no more a mask

The Lover I found will forever last

He´s like Hercules from ancient Greece

Afterwards still in a state of peace

When I fall asleep in his strong wings

That´s when I know why god made the Finns...

Ok I attempted to make a parody of Angels Fall First, but it sounds so lousy

Pay Money I Must

A gangster tries shoot me

Behind a trashcan so filthy

He used to be my crush charm

He says: no more delay!

Give back money, you'll be safe

Or have forever those wound bundles.

Flee to somewhere?

To rescue me from the breathlessness and shame

Tears seem so lame

Fears of death fears of tears

Trying to beg just gets more hollow

Oh God why?

Pay money I must.

Can't escape his grip of WWE All-star

Or manoeuvre the plan of breaking his wrist

I'll never anymore get the glimpse of light

Penniless sends me out of sight.

Spare me a day.

Oh you kindly

Or an hour some

Give me time to gather my bucks

And run to you on daybreak.

Yesterday we were friends

Oh darn!

Today a gun pointed to my head

How elegant!

I'm not quite sure if what I did conforms to the rules of this game, but here you go:

Sylvia Plath (based on Elvenpath)

(On the shelves of the library

Calling from many years ago

Accompanied only by a reading lamp

The rustling of the pages

And the girl dominating my mind...

...Sylvia Plath)

Reading stories from respectable authors

Words as a magical enchantment

The writer-folk is calling me

Eliot, Conrad, Hemingway and Faulkner

Doolittle, Dickens, Burroughs and Virginia Woolf

Open the books and let me indulge in these fantastic works

The words in my hands

That only she understands

The girl whose life was sadly ceased

Sylvia Plath

It's the memory of these words

That to a lonely heart most hurts

A story that could never last

Sylvia Plath

Fitzgerald took me to a ride in a Rolls Royce

Introduced me to his old friend Gatsby

Forced me to turn his pages all for him

On the shelves I met the best of previous centuries

Kafka, Lovecraft, Borges and Roald Dahl

Pushkin, Gogol, Poe and the Brothers Grimm

Their works are forever young

The words in my hands

That only she understands

The girl whose life was sadly ceased

Sylvia Plath

It's the memory of these words

That a lonely heart most hurts

A story that could never last

Sylvia Plath

(. . .)

And as I turn the last page

And the chronicle comes to end

Characters leave the stage

But in my mind I've gained a friend

In these hardbound dreams

The words are illustrious beams

In these hardbound dreams

The words are conscious streams

(. . .)
