    Decades World Tour 2018

Yep , last year i bought my first house so i haven’d had the money to do more than one date this tour. I love the magical feelig a nightwish concert gives, no other band comes close for me so next time 3 concerts is my aim.

I am already planning where to go from the next tour, currently thinking London as thats closest to me. One in Germany for sure but not sure which city, and then also not sure for the other one, maybe Prague or Krakow.

Anyone else think Raise your banner is dull? The chorus isn’t great and neither are the verses. The operatic singing near the end also seems like an afterthought.

Are they filming any of the euro shows? Just thinking it would look much better with all the pyro.

Just an observation i have made. I know Germany is The bands strongest market but i noticed the show in Berlin looks like one of the lowest attended shows in the country. In England , London will normally receive the largest attendance for bands generally speaking. Is it not the same in Germany or are NW an exception?

Wow has anyone seen pictures of the Prague concert? They sold out the whole arena,18,000 capacity. They must be so proud

Maybe in Sweden they are bigger but in the UK i would say WT are slightly bigger, although i am not sure about in other countries.

16,000 at Krakow gig, thats amazing. At paris the standing area and the lower tier seemed full so i guess there was around 13-14,000 there. Impressive attendances! I’ve recently read Marcos book and i feel really happy for him after all hr went through.Iknow he has already had a lot of success in the band but playing to these big crowds on multiple nights must be so awesome. Also happy for the rest of the band members, would love to know what Tuomas feels, and would be nice to hear from Empuu as a founding member. @avalonkillah yes i also found the gig in paris went so fast, at the end of each song i would be processing what i just saw but the next song had already begun! Just a minor complaint though

Wow , i would much rather hear DCS than the greatest show on earth, that song is such a time waster!

The Paris gig was great, sound levels were comfortable with ear plugs in. I did walk out into the concourse during Slaying the Dreamer as i knew that loud pyro bang was coming at the end and didn't want to hear that from inside the arena. Just a shame they did not play deep silent complete, oh and the atmosphere during the carpenter seemed very flat. I really think they should of replaced that song with something else. Also, Kai's drumming in devil is so intense and precise, he is like a machine!

Is blind and frozen the only good song of beast in black? Listened to a couple others and they were not great..

    Decades World Tour 2018

Does anyone know how loud a Nightwish concert is? I am going to the Paris concert next Saturday, my first concert in over 2 years. Reason is because i got tinnitus from a couple years ago, even then i still attended some concerts with ear plugs and it was fine. But I ended up finding a forum which had horror stories of people with very bad tinnitus and i automatically assumed i would end up like them. This is not the case as mine is mild but it took me along time to get over the anxiety that the forum gave me. Now the concert is almost her I am both excited but a little anxious at the same time. I had custom musicians ear plugs made so i know i will be well protected, and also i have seats just over halfway back on the sides in the Bercy arena so it's not like I will be down the front. I did go to the Wembley gig two years ago and i thought it was loud before i put the plugs in which made it comfortable.
