    Kamelot

I've listened to the new album about seven times since I got it. I wasn't expecting to like it based on the music videos, but I'm willing to look past a little cheesiness and recognize that musically, this is one of their best albums in years.

    Delain

Wait a sec, someone else on the forums lives in Ottawa? Hey! And I agree Charlotte is a fantastic frontwoman, with loads of charisma and talent on the stage. I've seen Delain twice, though sadly never as a headliner, and both shows were lots of fun.

    Kamelot

Musically, I like it, but I'm not big on the cheesy lyrics. I'm hoping for the album to have a different flavour overall to Silverthorn.

    Anette Olzon

Not that it's a big deal, but she is Gemini (dates are May 22-June 21, inclusive). I'm only pointing it out because her flighty personality and switching between different jobs or hobbies fits that zodiac sign perfectly. I don't judge her too harshly for her indecisiveness since I have Gemini friends who are the same way. Also, I'm enjoying her performances on the Finnish reality show so far. It's a good way for her to stay connected with fans (if she still has any), and show versatility in different styles of music.

    G'day from New Zealand!

Welcome to the forum! I've always wanted to visit New Zealand.

    What are you reading now?

I just finished reading Gone Girl. It made me really angry like well-written but emotionally abusive.

    Angra

I love Angra! I'm looking forward to hearing them perform Holy Land at Progpower 2015
  8. I like the cover! And the title. Even if it is a bit wordy. I'm trying to figure out how we'll pronounce the acronym. Ee-famb?

    Beautiful People

Yesss! I also think blond hair looks great on him. And also he was really friendly when I met him. And ALSO, when I ordered a poster from the Pain of Salvation website, they sent two, both signed by him ^_^Ok I will end my fangirling now

    Seventh Wonder

For anyone who's interested, here's Tears for a Father from Progpower. I was lucky enough to be there, and this video gives me chills  the audience singing along at the end is amazing: also, as evident in my profile picture, I got to meet the band, and even though there was a record-breaking lineup for their signing session, they were friendly and took their time with everyone. They are lovely people as well as incredible musicians

    Orden Ogan

I saw them at Progpower in September. I wasn't familiar with them before, but I really enjoyed their set (although their stage outfits had pieces of tire on them which I found somewhat goofy.)

    Hello from England

Welcome, Jason! I hope you enjoy the forums

    Average age of Nightwish fans?

I think the broad age range on the forums is pretty much representative of what I've seen at NW and other similar bands' shows. I tend to be among the younger people there, but I find it doesn't matter-- sharing a common love for a band makes age less relevant. I hope you have fun at the show! Will it be your first? (Is it safe to assume from your username that you're a Seventh Wonder fan, or is it just a coincidence?)

    World Tour EFMB 2015/2016

Does anyone know if the North American VIP tickets include early entry? I'm reluctant to pay $185 for a rushed handshake with the band, but I would really like to be in the front, especially since I'm also a big Delain fan.
