Kai Hahto

Sighs)! E que venha o Endless Forms!

    Children of Bodom

Children of Bodom is a Finnish heavy metal band from Espoo, formed in 1993. The band has incorporated many different musical styles, leading critics and fans to label them as melodic death metal, black metal, thrash metal, and power metal. They are one of Finland's best selling artists of all time with more than 250,000 records sold there alone. The band's third studio album, Follow the Reaper, was their first album to receive a Gold certification in Finland, and since then, all seven of the band's studio albums have reached the same status. Current members Alexi Laiho – lead vocals, lead guitar (1993–present) Jaska Raatikainen – drums, percussion (1993–present) Henkka Seppälä – bass guitar, backing vocals (1996–present) Janne Wirman – keyboards, synthesizers (1997–present) Roope Latvala – rhythm guitar, backing vocals (2003–present) Studio albums Something Wild (1997) Hatebreeder (1999) Follow the Reaper (2000) Hate Crew Deathroll (2003) Are You Dead Yet? (2005) Blooddrunk (2008) Relentless Reckless Forever (2011) YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.c...ser/cobofficial Official Website http://www.cobhc.com/ (I'm actually impressed that there was no topic about them so far. I mean, it's hard to be a Nightwish fan and have never heard about them or whatever. And Alexi Laiho is pretty famous, too.)

    K-Pop

LOL WHAT THE ***** I can't believe it exists here! I am what you can call ELF, since I'm a big big big giant Super Junior fan since 2009! But it's fantastically awkward to find a topic talking about K-Pop and the hallyu wave and don't find a Children of Bodom topic, whoa.

    The Jukka thread

Well, at least for me, I can say that his ~skills~ are very important to the development of the song's atmosphere. Even though I'm no drummer (much more of a music n00b, actually) and I can't tell nothing technically, he’s my favorite drummer of all time, so it's kind of biased of my part but I think he’s brilliant in his own way. He plays a very important character in the songs atmosphere, imo. You can see how his ~thing~ change through songs, it’s not the same dull thing all songs and much less all albums. When you pay attention to the drums in the longer songs, you can see how many fantastic passages he can make. It's like in Scaretale, for example: you can see how he manages to put a lot of different ~feelings~ in one single song. I mean, it’s hard to find a drummer with such different ~influences~ that can manage to put up things together in some minutes of music. Sometimes the guy is genius and have a shitload of cymbals and everything but he sounds the ***** same all the time. Not to say that Jukka has presence on the stage and this is fantastic, since he's behind a set of drums and all.
