  1. I will be at the same concert. However I know for a fact I wont be able to resist the urge for all these months. Come March 9th I will be refreshing Youtube for any and all videos.
  2. Beware Emppu. We will take East Sweden back one of these days! Serioisly though, his answers were just as excpected, but funny and appreciated nonetheless.
  3. So, has anyone else but me seen the videos from Shanghai? Just thinking about all those comments earlier about how they looked tired and bored on stage. Just shows how much of an effect an energetic audience has on the band. Especially Marco just seems to be in heaven.
  4. A bit random, yes... He did the same thing in Sweden before.
  5. Haha, yes. Those bombs are LOUD! Especially when you're in the front as we were. I was prepeared for them but I think my friend had a minor heart attack.
  6. No that's right. There was unfortunatly no Poet, nor was there any intro. The latter of which caught me a bit off guard
  7. I can only say that I agree with NeoGeorg. Also I want to say thanks to all the great guys and girls I meat, who made quqeing a lot more fun! I'm the red-haired guy (or number 14 ) And it seems like they cut back a little on the pyros because of the smaller stage, the pyrotechnicians seemed to be quite worried... I was a bit sad that the audience was so VERY docile, but it was an absolutly great concert non the less
  8. Ohh yes indeed! Sunday can't come fast enough! Still debating if I should be there early to try and get a place in the first row. Hmm... We'll see if I'm that ambitious.
  9. Kinda strange though, that a band of their size only get to do nine songs, don't you think?
  10. Ok, someone will have to fill me in on this... They came on stage during TGSOE I'm guessing?
  11. Sorry if I keep it a bit short, as I'm still just on my phone. The set was just under one hour long and Marco said that they hadn't at all prepeared for the whole cruise go be there to watch them. Joking ensued about their age and they said they would take questions from the crowd, but only If they were related to beards. They started by playing 2 or 3 accoustic songs I didn't recognice. After that they talked for a long while, especially about how alcohol turns Kai into an all-consuming god. Thus they sang a song about alcohol while waiting for Kai to get to the stage, and when he did they played a hillarious and surprisingly good cover of Ace of Spades. The next song I don't remember, but after that they started playing My Heart will Go on and all of the sudden, out on the stage comes Floor and is all like, "stop guys that's enough, we're on a boat!" After a while they agree they should play a pop cover but decides to do Alone instead. Finally they close the set with Edema Ruh and the crowd goes absolutly ballistic. As I said earlier, it was a great set, so relaxed and intimite. Marco even forgot one of the songs at a point and just asked Troy, "hey, which part comes after this one? I forgot..." (Sorry if anything is wrong or missing, I'll probably edit this post tomorrow when I'm back home)
  12. Like Zia said. The first cruise gig didn't offer anything new, but was never the less amazing, and the crowd was really into it. Probably the best crowd I've been in at a NW gig. On another note, they just played Edema Ruh today, during "Troy and Marco's" accoustic session. I have to say that I maybe even liked that better than the main show. It hade such a relaxed and cozy feeling. Also, Marco and Troy just have the best improvised banter between songs.
  13. Sitting at a café in Helsinki now, waiting for the train to take me to Turku. Can't believe that the cruise is already tonight! Feels like it's been an eternity since I booked the tickets!
  14. Well, you could kind of interpret it as if it's about the death of the old Tuomas and subsequently the birth of the new, happier Tuomas, to put it into simple terms. I do agree though, I'm not a big fan of that part either. I just don't think that they should change it, as it might not reflect his feelings right now, but it is a reflection of his feelings at that time.
  15. It's Aftonbladet we're talking about here. It's not like you would excpect some quality writing...
