    The Floor thread

Wow. That was unbelievable, I have never heard Floor sing like that, it's like completely new territory for her voice and it sounds just beautiful! I know that she has used soft voice before, like Our Decades In The Sun, but in my opinion this was different and very emotional. I loved this! Apparently she can do just anything and everything

    Tarja Turunen pt. III

I saw Tarja at Raskasta Joulua last night and was really disappointed at her voice, especially during Walking In The Air. It surprised me, because I expected to hear something like during her Nightwish days... but she sang half of the song in a weird, low "witch voice" and the singing just didn't have any "flow" to it; don't know how to describe it better, I don't know the correct musical word for it. But I mean that the clean, flowing performance, like linked above, was nowhere to be heard, and instead her voice kept going up and down, up and down constantly, and she would lower her voice in weird places. I'm not even a fan of Elize Ryd from Amaranthe, but she controlled her voice a lot better and sang every song way cleaner than Tarja.

    Decades World Tour 2018

They should include Dead To The World! It's a kickass energetic song and Floor + Marco duet in the chorus would sound amazing and powerful. I'm imagining they would sing it in the same style as "Man, he took his time in the sun..."-part in TGSOE (is that singing style called belting?) and that just makes me hope they will play it someday.

    Decades World Tour 2018

Any ideas when we can expect this live DVD coming out?

    Decades World Tour 2018

They filmed the Lahti gig? I was there and didn't see any cameras or and wasn't aware in any way... I was also at the Tampere show that was filmed in 2015 and Floor announced that this night will be memorized in DVD. Didn't hear anything like that in Lahti. I sure hope they filmed it, and we will have one full big show from Finland and a show from SA with a crazy crowd and energy!

    Decades World Tour 2018

At Lahti they played GLS after TGSOE, so maybe they are doing the same here

    Decades World Tour 2018

The festival setlist sure feels a lot of shorter... TGSOE already!

Does the stream stop for anyone else like every 5 minutes or so? Is it just my connection?

    The Floor thread

Wow, I really wish she would sing like this in Nightwish. Those operatic parts, I mean... they are full of power. We want to hear more of this!

    Decades World Tour 2018

Wow I love Floor singing Slaying the Dreamer. It's like made for her, she can go full fierce and wild, and she nails the dramatic operatic sound tooAnd 10th Man Down sounds amazing. I hope the setlist won't change too much, I definitely want to hear Slaying the Dreamer, 10th Man Down, and Devil (though, if I could have Pharaoh instead... that would be heaven). Can't wait for July and the concert in Lahti, it's going to be unforgettable if the setlist is like this. If someone from the band is ever reading this forum: we desperately want a live DVD of this tour!!!
  14. So, can we assume that the Decades world tour setlist will consist of these songs? If yes, I would be quite ok with it. To get Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean, Elvenpath, Slaying the Dreamer or Gehtsemane live would be awesome. Of course everyone hoped for even more of these old and rare songs...

    Vehicle of Spirit

I started with the Wembley show, and oh god, that Poet and the Pendulum... I was literally in tears while watching it, it was so emotional and intense.
