    The Upcoming Nightwish Album

Speaking about fishing : Also, I've got to say this forum must be the most up-to-date info source about the upcoming album

    The Upcoming Nightwish Album

To these sorts of discussions Richard Dawkins himself has something to add. At the end of the instrumental version of The Greatest Show on Earth he says: "It never seems to occur to people that a man might just want to write a piece of music."

Songs You Are Currently Addicted To!

Here's one: I don't know how many of you know about this band, but this one's an amazing song and video! (Oh and also, I'm listening to Cold all the time these days)

    Tarja Turunen pt. III

Honestly the tracks released so far didn't catch my attention (I would prefer to see No Bitter End performed over Dead Promises), but the descriptions about the second half of the album read incredible! Really looking forward to the love song, the duet with Tommy and the symphonic epic closure. Little story with Ciaran's Well: my brother came to me with shivering hands and wanted to show me a song. I think you can figure out the rest he introduced Ciaran's Well to me on a fairly high volume. But I love that song, it's like a funny little piece that actually works very well at the same time.

    Sonata Arctica

Love it! Also, this type of music videos is my favourite: nothing special just musicians doing what they're best at.

    Budapest 20. November anyone? :)

    Sonata Arctica

Oooh, is this still an open question? 01. Pariah's Child 02. The Days of Grays 03. Ecliptica - revisited 04. Stones Grow Her Name 05. The Ninth Hour 06. Unia 07. Reckoning Night 08. Successor/Takatalvi (EP) 09. Silence 10. Orientation (EP) +1. And let's not forget the lovely Christmas Spirits! (I just didn't know where to put it) Out of these eight even the last one is one of my favourite albums, it's just an order. I don't listen to Winterheart's Guild or to the original Ecliptica here, so I think I should simply left them out. Oh and one more thing: you really can see who prefers the old and new Sonata Arctica

    Epica

Somehow it captured me for the first listen, it was a magnificent feeling (probably because the different orchestrations made it fresh to me) Also, the jazz theme doesn't really bother me, jazz could be way way worse than what we can hear in the song. Also, this thread just reminded me that I want to listen to it again!

    Sonata Arctica

I hated it im the beginning too :D

    Sonata Arctica

Hhah The Days of Grays & Pariah's Child! Also, never understood all the hate for Stones Grow Her Name. Granted, there are a few songs on it that I never could get into, but that's true for almost every one of their albums! SGHN has songs that work great live (Only the Broken Hearts, Cinderblox), amazing solos (Losing my Insanity, Cinderblox again :D), very catchy melodies (Shitload of Money, I Have a Right), and the two amazing sequels for Wildfire. One more thing: does anyone know about the gear Pasi is using? I really love his bass sound, and may want to use it later As a proof for all what I said:

    Sonata Arctica

We have no information about it, but I think they will make a new album this or early next year (since 2 years passed between Pariah's Child and The Ninth Hour).
